Inventory Manager

Dynapac Rotating Company (www.dpmot.com) is an industry leading, family-owned company that specializes in engineering, machining, fabricating, and creating motion equipment for the advertising and commercial industry. We provide engineering and design services in these industries. We also have a full-service machine shop that includes CNC Turning, CNC Milling, CNC Punching/Laser, CNC Bending, gear hobbing, welding, and other machine shop equipment. We are always looking for good people to hire.

Position: Inventory Manager

Job Duties:

·      Work full time (40 hours/week, desired hours are 7:00am-3:30pm M-F)

·      Inventory – organize parts, make locations for parts, document in MRP system

·      MRP – use Dynapac’s MRP Software (DBA Manufacturing) to update BOM’s, track inventory, review jobs, and help Production know what parts need to be made. 

• Assist with scheduling work in shop so that the right parts are being made at the right time
• Purchasing - Purchase parts and items needed for production and shop needs. 
  • Work with vendors to coordinate best pricing and lead times

·      Sales – review sales orders and watch for any parts or custom items that need to be made to fulfill orders

·      Implement lean manufacturing principles

·      Work with Assembly and production areas to help shop run smoothly

Requirements:

·      Applicant must be mechanically inclined

·      Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

·      Extremely organized personality

·      Good work ethic

·      Self-motivated

·      High School Diploma

·      Pass drug test upon hire, and subsequent random drug tests
