Xmiles is a logistics company specializing in last-mile delivery services within the United States, dedicated to providing efficient, stable, and scalable delivery solutions for cross-border e-commerce sellers, platform merchants, and brand clients. The company operates warehouses and operational hubs in multiple key logistics cities across the U.S. and maintains a nationwide trucking network, supporting end-to-end last-mile logistics services from warehouse coordination to final delivery. Due to business expansion, Xmiles is hiring two Warehouse Operations Management Trainees to work closely with Operations Managers on process optimization and operational improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Participate in frontline warehouse and last-mile delivery operations; become familiar with end-to-end warehouse and delivery processes.
- Assist in handling operational exceptions across warehouses; coordinate with dispatch, customer service, and accounting teams.
- Support warehouse project execution; implement 5S management and strictly follow SOPs.
- Assist with inventory, delivery, and quality management to reduce operational risks.
- Organize and analyze operational data; produce basic data summaries and reports.
- Conduct weekly on-site inspections and submit status reports.
Inventory Management
- Responsible for parcel counting across warehouse and delivery stages, including inbound, outbound, staging, and pending delivery areas.
- Perform daily, weekly, and cycle counts to ensure system inventory matches physical inventory.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, mis-scans, missed scans, losses, and over-shipments.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure inventory and billing accuracy prior to delivery.
Quality Control
- Verify accuracy of labels, barcodes, weight, dimensions, and related documentation.
- Monitor delivery processes to ensure compliance with last-mile delivery SOPs and billing standards.
- Investigate delivery exceptions (e.g., mis-delivery, missed scans, weight discrepancies, damages) and conduct root cause analysis.
- Review Proof of Delivery (POD) completeness and compliance to support billing and customer dispute resolution.
Process Compliance & Risk Control
- Monitor execution of operational procedures across warehousing, sorting, and delivery stages.
- Assist with verification related to billing disputes, abnormal charges, and customer claims.
- Work cross-functionally with dispatch, customer service, and accounting teams to ensure issue resolution.
Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze ICQA-related metrics, including inventory accuracy, exception rates, and mis-scan rates.
- Produce daily and periodic ICQA reports to support management decision-making.
- Propose process optimization and improvement initiatives to reduce delivery exceptions and operational risks.
- Support standardization and normalization of on-site operations.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / WPS / SQL / other data software.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English; willing to communicate closely with frontline employees.
- Able to accept warehouse rotation assignments; capable of filling in frontline roles when needed.
- Basic ability to operate an OP forklift.
- Willing to handle simple message responses after work hours.
- Willing to travel between Fontana, CA and Cranbury, NJ.
Compensation & Benefits
- Comprehensive compensation structure.
- $24/hour during probation period.
- $50,000–$55,000 per year after conversion.
- H-1B sponsorship in 2026 depends.
