About the Position:
Supports a friendly, welcoming, and professional environment for students, staff, families, and the community, and assists with the day-to-day operations of the Counseling Office. Responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls; maintaining the school’s Google calendar, website, and school sign; performing general clerical duties; overseeing student community service requirements by maintaining records and sharing opportunities; coordinating college representative visits; and assisting with student awards and scholarships. The position requires strict confidentiality and includes other reasonable duties as assigned by the Assistant Principals, Principal, or Superintendent of Schools.
Qualifications:
High school diploma is required. Associate degree or beyond preferred. Successful candidate will have excellent people skills; be familiar with general office procedures; have a strong working knowledge of Google, MS Office - including Excel; and the ability to work with students and staff in a busy school setting office environment. Experience with PowerSchool is preferred.
What We Offer:
This is an hourly, non-exempt position: 190-day school year (student school days plus 7 days before student start date in August and 3 days following student end date in June), 7.5 hours/day; hourly pay rate based on qualifications and experience; competitive benefits offering.
