Job Title: BD Executive
Job Description:
The Business Development executive for Data Center team will be responsible for:
- Information exchange and medium with outbound calls, research and third-party brokers management for the selection of locations for Data Center
- Formulate investment thesis and strategy into shortlisted sites for presentation and discussion with senior team members and management
- Continuous onboarding of power pipeline, filtering between quality of sites, driven by data and analysis from screening and calls, meetings and industry events
- Research and strategy formulation based on market movements, developments within the AI and Bitcoin Mining Data Center Industry
- Drafting, conversion of discussed strategy into effective, commercial terms to achieve intended effect of execution of sites for onboarding of capacity onto company’s power portfolio
- Handover/communication of achieved commercial options to project management/construction teams to ensure the timely meeting of energization deadline.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in the following fields, including finance, management, electrical engineering, Energy and Power, and other related majors.
- 0-3 Years of relevant experience
- Keen interest in data centre/real estate/energy markets/cryptocurrency
- Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative assessment of layered deals, market economics, critical thinking, problem solving and decisive decision making under time pressure
- Drafting Pitch Decks/Value proposition and presentation skills
- Able to weave GenAI resources while still arriving at independent thoughtful conclusions about a business case
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess a strong sense of integrity, entrepreneurship, willing to learn and step out of comfort zone.
- Ability to accept flexible working hours and frequent business trip to different states and overseas. This includes frequent weeknight meetings with local and or overseas team members, weekend communication with local and or overseas team.
- Ability to effectively communicate relevant subject matter to both business and technical teams cross cultural and geographical borders. This includes being able to work at different times to match time zones for overseas team members.
- Highly detail oriented, well organized, and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Energetic, motivated, service-oriented, and effectively manage multiple priorities at a time.
- Ability to foster a positive work environment across all teams’/business units.
