Game Presentation Intern

Overview:

The Game Presentation Intern is the heartbeat of the in-game experience. This role brings the energy and excitement of game day to life by managing all video and audio elements on the scoreboard during regular-season and postseason games. From walk-up songs to inning promotions, this position ensures that every fan enjoys a dynamic and seamless experience at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Operate our videoboard for all home AppleSox Games.
  • Design and produce graphics and still graphics for in-stadium displays (player cards, fan hype, and sponsorship elements).
  • Support coordination of on-field promotions, between-inning entertainment, and sponsor recognition.
  • Coordinate with the PA announcer, scoreboard operator, and scorekeeper to maintain smooth in-game execution.
  • Create, update, and manage game day scripts for each home game.

What You’ll Need:

  • Must be comfortable with Photoshop and/or Canva.
    • Motion graphics experience is a plus.
  • Applicants should be studying/ have coursework in a subject in a relevant field. This may include, but is not limited to, Sport Management, Marketing, and Communications.
  • Willingness to constantly improve the fan experience through the content displayed on the scoreboard.
    • A lot of content will be created before the season, but the intern will be expected to create new content as opportunities develop during the season.
  • Basic understanding of baseball and game flow (knowing when to cue graphics, music, and promotions).
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season.
