About Mimi Cheng’s

Mimi Cheng’s is a NYC-born dumpling brand founded by two sisters, inspired by our mom’s Taiwanese family recipes. What started as a tiny East Village shop is now a nationwide frozen dumpling brand available at Whole Foods, plus our flagship restaurant and cult-favorite chef collaborations. We’re all about community, hospitality, and really good dumplings.

The Role

We’re looking for outgoing, food-loving Brand Ambassadors to help us show up IRL — in grocery stores, on campuses, and at events. This is a hands-on field marketing role for someone who loves talking to people, building hype, and representing a brand they actually believe in.

What You’ll Do

Represent Mimi Cheng’s at Whole Foods demos, pop-ups, events, and tastings

Sample frozen dumplings and tell our brand story in a friendly, natural way

Engage customers, answer questions, and drive trial

Capture light content (photos/videos) during activations for social

Share feedback from customers and stores with our team

Help us grow local awareness and community, one dumpling at a time

You’re a Great Fit If You…

Love food, culture, and hospitality

Are confident talking to strangers (and actually enjoy it)

Are reliable, punctual, and proactive

Have a positive, warm energy and strong communication skills

Are a student or recent grad interested in marketing, food, startups, or brand building

Bonus: experience with demos, events, social media, or street marketing

Flexible scheduling (mostly weekends + some weekdays)

Paid hourly
