Sales Intern - Generates relationships with new and existing customers, building profitable revenue growth.

Key Role Accountabilities

Customer Relationships 

  • Actively researches and pursues new customer relationships; including all prospecting activity (e.g. cold calls, networking events, presentations, etc.).
  • Maintains healthy and productive relationships with existing customers.
  • Takes action and involves leadership to preserve relationships.

Project Management 

  • Manages the entire lifecycle of projects from proposal through collections.
  • Understands and follows appropriate sequence of operations.
  • Tracks performance; anticipates potential issues; and communicates effectively.

Systems Adherence

  • Follows established company scheduling procedures.
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge and expertise in best-in-class materials and methodologies.
  • Provides complete work order information in CRM according to company procedures.
  • Ensures scheduling and pricing are both competitive with the marketplace and consistent with company expectations; appropriately uses estimator to complete bids for large/complex projects.
  • Timeliness and industrial standards of proposals, estimates and communications reinforce SWC’s reputation for speed, quality and competitiveness. 
  • Maintains regularly scheduled hours, as agreed upon with manager, to dependably collaborate with SWC team members; communicates with manager when requests fall outside of that schedule.
