Sales Intern
Sales Intern - Generates relationships with new and existing customers, building profitable revenue growth.
Key Role Accountabilities
Customer Relationships
- Actively researches and pursues new customer relationships; including all prospecting activity (e.g. cold calls, networking events, presentations, etc.).
- Maintains healthy and productive relationships with existing customers.
- Takes action and involves leadership to preserve relationships.
Project Management
- Manages the entire lifecycle of projects from proposal through collections.
- Understands and follows appropriate sequence of operations.
- Tracks performance; anticipates potential issues; and communicates effectively.
Systems Adherence
- Follows established company scheduling procedures.
- Develops and maintains working knowledge and expertise in best-in-class materials and methodologies.
- Provides complete work order information in CRM according to company procedures.
- Ensures scheduling and pricing are both competitive with the marketplace and consistent with company expectations; appropriately uses estimator to complete bids for large/complex projects.
- Timeliness and industrial standards of proposals, estimates and communications reinforce SWC’s reputation for speed, quality and competitiveness.
- Maintains regularly scheduled hours, as agreed upon with manager, to dependably collaborate with SWC team members; communicates with manager when requests fall outside of that schedule.
