Data Scientist - FP&A

Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Group FP&A function, supporting comprehensive financial reporting, analysis, and insights across our business operations. This role will play a key part in integrating data analytics into our group reporting processes, with exposure to site-level performance, transactional data, and consolidated group reporting.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a new or recent college graduate looking to launch a career in financial data analysis within a global organization. Prior industry experience is desirable but not essential. strong analytical skills and a passion for data-driven problem solving are what matter most.

 

Responsibilities:

1.       Support all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for the Group FP&A function.

2.       Gather, cleanse, and analyze site-by-site and transactional-level data to support group performance reporting.

3.       Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

4.       Assist in preparing and consolidating reports for management review and decision-making.

5.       Partner with FP&A, operations, and IT teams to ensure accuracy and alignment of financial and operational data.

6.       Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support business insights and drive process improvements.

 

Working Relationships:

This position will require close partnership with FP&A, IT and country teams

Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field 

Minimum Experience: 0–2 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or data analysis (new graduates encouraged to apply).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Curiosity to explore data and uncover insights that support business performance.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools and financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI, or similar) is a plus.

 

Other Requirements:

Travel: Minimal 5%

Hours & Conditions: Monday – Friday 8 hour day in office setting (1 day remote per week with approval and satisfactory job performance)

Physical Requirements: Minimal physical effort required; sitting / standing at computer for long periods of time.  Ability to maneuver and lift up to 10 lbs.
