Document and Data Specialist – Regulatory Department
Location: On-site (Chatsworth, CA)
Schedule: Part-time (up to 30 hours/week)
Duration: Temporary (6–9 months)

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Document and Data Specialist to support our Regulatory Department. The primary focus of this role is to gather, enter, and analyze raw material documentation from various suppliers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external requirements. The position also provides support for general administrative and regulatory tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
· Collect and review raw material documentation from suppliers (e.g., SDS, TDS, ingredient statements, certificates of analysis, and regulatory declarations).
· Enter and maintain data within regulatory databases and internal systems.
· Identify and resolve missing or inconsistent information in raw material documents, including online research and communicating with suppliers.
· Assist in organizing and maintaining electronic document libraries.
· Support the Regulatory team with data analysis, reporting, and other documentation-related projects.
· Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental needs.
Qualifications
· Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, or other science or tech-related field.
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data entry systems.
· Comfortable working with large volumes of technical documents.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
