Job Overview
The ECS coach is responsible for developing teachers in one of the schools within our network at the elementary or middle school level. The consultant role works with 1 content area, 2-3 times per week. The successful candidate will have evidence of strong performance with educating students and coaching teachers. High needs content areas are grades K-2 reading, grades 3-8 writing and grades 3-8 math.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning meetings with teachers
- Model instruction for teachers
- Provide weekly feedback to Chief Academic Officer
- Available to be on site at schools a minimum of 2 days per week; 3 hours per day.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field. Doctorate preferred.
- Minimum of 4 year’s experience developing teachers; 10+ years as a classroom teacher
Compensation
- The Consulting School Coach role is a part-time position with an hourly rate of $125.00
