Instructional Design Intern

Overview


LEAD Training is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Instructional Design & Workbook Development Intern to support the development of K–12 educational materials focused on life-career readiness skill development. This role is ideal for students interested in education, curriculum design, graphic design, or content development.

Interns will take draft content (already written by our curriculum team) and transform it into polished, student-friendly workbooks and templates. Each grade level (K–12) will receive its own workbook, along with accompanying lesson plans and a course guide.


Key Responsibilities


• Format and design grade-specific student workbooks (K–12) using provided content
• Develop and organize lesson plan layouts and a course guide template
• Apply consistent branding, visuals, and structure across all materials
• Collaborate with LEAD Training staff for revisions and feedback
• Prepare print-ready and digital-ready versions of all materials
• Provide creative input on layout or visual elements


Work Products


• Full set of K–12 student workbooks
• Completed lesson plan templates
• Course guide template or finalized guide (depending on time and scope)
