Receptionist / Office Assistant
Job description:
Business Management Firm seeks an upbeat, energetic, social and self-motivated individual to join their General Office/Administration team!
The Receptionist & Office Assistant will aid in all areas related to the front desk/reception area, general office operations and maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greeting, welcoming, and directing guests and clients.
- Notify company personnel of visitor/client arrival.
- Answering/transferring calls, taking messages.
- Keeping a safe and clean reception area.
- Oversee shipping and receiving of packages and boxes.
- Ensuring that facilities are in proper order, including daily office inspection/rounds.
- Order, organize, and distribute office supplies as required.
- Ensure that the office and kitchen inventory areas are neat.
- Maintain filing and scanning duties, as assigned.
- Event preparation and cleanup.
- Maintain and organize files, including scanning.
- Errands, as requested. This includes travel to the post office, grocery store, or lunch pickup.
The ideal candidate will also possess:
- Bubbly personality.
- Valid CA Driver’s License and Auto Insurance coverage.
- Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and anticipate needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals, and calmly handle situations ranging from routine to emergency.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
**Schedule is 8am – 5pm (Overtime on occasion) **
