Overview
The Executive Education Programs Team at the Stanford Graduate School of Business is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Program Assistant. Executive Education offers a variety of programs, including the Stanford Executive Program (SEP), the six-week flagship offering designed to equip senior executives with the knowledge, relationships, and tools necessary to drive results at the highest level of global management.
This position will report to the Program Director, Associate Directors, and Program Managers of SEP. The position will primarily support all areas of SEP with the possibility of supporting other Executive Education programs with a variety of administrative and operational tasks while also providing general support for staff. The position is an onsite supporting role located on the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) Knight Management Center.
Position Type
This is a full-time seasonal position. You will be required to work 40 hours per week from June 19–August 1, 2026, primarily Monday-Friday between 7 am–9:30 pm PT, with weekend hours on program kickoff, Saturday, June 20, 2026 and Sunday, June 21, 2026.

As a Summer Program Assistant, you will gain valuable experience in event management and executive education, working closely with program staff and faculty. Your role will provide insight into the functioning of complex, high-touch educational programs and enhance your administrative and operational skills.
Salary
The expected pay range for this position is $23.59–$29.44 per hour.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you should possess the following:
- Availability from June 19 to August 1, 2026
- Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle, public transport, etc.)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/carry objects up to 30 pounds
- Business casual attire is required at all times, and vacation days are not permitted during SEP program dates.
Job Responsibilities
- Program Assistants work closely with program leadership to ensure that the executives who attend our programs enjoy a high-quality, customer-focused, well-run program.
- Administrative responsibilities include data entry and organization, filing, printing, photocopying, preparing and tidying materials, collating and editing documents, enhancing virtual documentation, assembling educational and informational materials, assembling and delivering gift bags/packages, helping set-up and reset classrooms, running miscellaneous errands (on and off campus), and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Other responsibilities include working collaboratively with the SEP team, core programs team, and professors, classroom audio-visual equipment support, chimes and time keeping, logistics preparation for various program activities/exercises, assisting in daily classroom management (sessions, activities, exercises), supporting miscellaneous social events, and other hands-on support duties as needed.
- Learn and become knowledgeable in the SEP mobile app (SpotMe), Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Qualtrics, Canva, LinkedIn, Executive
A successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:

- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat and ability to learn other core tools quickly
