Fusco Personnel is seeking an experienced attorney to support our client in ensuring the organization remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. This position provides a wide range of legal support, offering legal guidance to internal teams, and assisting with litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate responses to subpoenas and information requests.
- Ensure proper legal review and collaboration with relevant departments for all inquiries from law enforcement and the courts.
- Research and interpret laws and regulations affecting financial operations.
- Maintain and improve systems used to track subpoenas and legal inquiries.
- Support litigation efforts, including reviewing legal filings and coordinating case management.
- Partner with internal teams to gather information and prepare for legal proceedings.
- Advise staff on legal risks and obligations.
- Develop legal templates and help streamline legal processes.
- Prepare detailed legal reports.
- Manage relationships with outside counsel.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and professional integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in financial services, regulatory compliance, or civil litigation.
Salary range: $100,000-$140,000
