Paid Advancement Internship
Part-Time | 10 hours/week | 10-Month Internship | $10,000 Stipend
The Mead School seeks a part-time Advancement Intern to support our Communications, Enrollment, and Advancement teams. This 12-month paid internship is an opportunity to develop professional skills in digital marketing, communications, and nonprofit advancement while contributing to a mission-driven Preschool–Grade 8 community.
Responsibilities
- Create and collect content for social media and website updates
- Monitor comments and questions on social platforms in coordination with Communications and Enrollment
- Prepare brief engagement reports for Board meetings
- Maintain and update the donor database
- Draft solicitation messages informed by donor data
- Engage with faculty, staff, and families as needed
- Photograph or film school events to help capture Mead’s story

- Initiative, follow-through, and sound judgment
- (Preferred) Photography or simple video editing
- Commitment to confidentiality

- $10,000 annual stipend
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
