Position Overview:
The Timekeeping/AP Accounting Clerk is critical for the accurate calculation of employee pay. This role is responsible for employee time scheduling, time reporting and labor posting duties, including utilizing SAP CATS and Auto Time for accurate labor tracking.

Onsite in Barberton, OH
Your Day to Day as a Timekeeping/AP Accounting Clerk:
- Captures time accurately across all roles and locations to comply with labor laws and internal policies.
- Prepares and distributes reports on employee hours worked, absenteeism, and other time related metrics.
- Performs Accounts Payable duties include reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals in accordance with payment terms, prior to payment.
- Scans invoices into A/P automation tool/Process 3 way P.O. match invoices.
- Responds to employee and vendor inquiries, researches and corrects discrepancies.
- Maintains files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Assists in month, quarter, and year-end closing.
- Assists with internal and external audit in relation to Timekeeping/Acounts Payable audit requests.
- Assists with other Accounting projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, or Finance related field.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must be well organized and able to follow standard procedures.
- Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills.
- Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Excel, Word, AP Automation Tools.
- SAP experience a plus.
