Position: Freight Broker / Logistics Coordinator

We are expanding our brokerage division and are seeking motivated, experienced Freight Brokers to join our growing team at the Sewickley, PA office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, enjoys building carrier and customer relationships, and wants to align with a respected flatbed carrier with a long-standing reputation in the transportation sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop, grow, and manage relationships with shippers and carriers
• Prospect new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
• Negotiate rates with carriers and customers
• Coordinate and track freight movements from pickup to delivery
• Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving when issues arise
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of load details into TMS systems
• Build a reliable carrier network with a focus on flatbed and open-deck freight
• Communicate daily with dispatchers, drivers, and customers

Qualifications

• Experience as a freight broker or logistics coordinator preferred
• Existing customer or carrier relationships a strong plus
• Knowledge of flatbed/open-deck freight is a major advantage
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working both independently and within a team
• Proficiency with TMS platforms and basic computer skills
