Mezcalum is a premium, artisanal mezcal crafted using traditional, sustainable production methods and natural ingredients. Inspired by Tulum, handcrafted in Oaxaca. As we grow, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our vibrant team in NYC. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of craft spirits while contributing to a growing startup brand's success.

What You’ll Do:

As a Marketing Intern at Mezcalum, you’ll support the Marketing team by enhancing brand awareness, create captivating social content, and assist with brand events and programming. Your contributions will help grow our 360 marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating content for social media platforms, including developing engaging posts, tracking engagement metrics, and supporting overall social media strategy
  • Conduct competitive research to gather insights on industry trends, competitor strategies, and potential market opportunities
  • Help coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Assist in tracking campaign performance and compiling performance reports
  • Support event marketing efforts, including logistics, promotional material preparation, and on-site assistance
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management
  • Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices

What We’re Looking For:

  • We’re seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing individual who is passionate about brand building and marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor’s degree program (business, marketing, or related field preferred).
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Interest in the food and beverage or alcohol industry is a bonus.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends for events as needed.
