Accounting Assistant/Administrative Support
Honeyville is seeking a personable, organized, and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and providing back up to HR services. This role also serves as Administrative Support to the President and Vice President. The ideal candidate will possess not only strong organizational skills but also a friendly demeanor, ensuring positive interactions with both clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
- Issue invoices promptly and accurately
- Reconcile payments with invoices and maintain meticulous transaction records
- Process remote bank deposit
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices with attention to payment terms
- Schedule payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Issue positive pay file to bank for processing
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in accounts payable transactions
Customer Service
- Provide a welcoming and personable response to incoming phone calls
- Address customer inquiries with professionalism
- Direct calls to appropriate departments and announce caller to staff
Administrative Support
- Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective workflow
- Assist in coordinating events for employees and dealers/customers
- Support other departments with miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Requirements

Education or Experience
- Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
Other Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong math skills
- Knowledge of payroll process with ADP is beneficial, but not required
- Experience with NetSuite is beneficial, but not required
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel.
- The employee must be able to move and/or lift objects up to 20 pounds

Compensation
- Compensation is largely dependent on experience
- 40 hours per week*, Monday – Friday, 7:00am- 3:30pm
*Will consider part-time employment depending on candidate abilities.

Honeyville Metal manufactures a complete line of commercial and agricultural bucket elevators, pit type incline drag conveyors, conveyor supports and towers along with related accessories for the agricultural industry. We also manufacture a complete line of fans, cyclones, baghouse filters, airlocks, storage bins, trunkline, and other components for the dust collection industry.
Our equipment is currently being used in seed houses, feed mills, and for various types of dust in the woodworking industry. Nearly all the components that make up a Honeyville dust collection system or grain handling system are manufactured in our plant. Honeyville Metal equipment is being used throughout North America.
