About the Role

 

The Community Partnerships Manager (Territory Manager/District Executive) is an entry-level professional position ideal for new graduates interested in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, youth development, fundraising, sales, or public administration.

 

You’ll work directly with volunteers, schools, and community partners to help deliver Scouting programs to families across Lucas and Wood Counties. This role offers flexible scheduling, full benefits, paid training, and clear career advancement opportunities.

  

What You’ll Do

  • Build relationships with community partners, schools, and volunteers.
  • Recruit, train, and support adult volunteers.
  • Grow youth membership through outreach and partnerships.
  • Support fundraising campaigns and community initiatives.
  • Coordinate programs, events, and camp activities.
  • Communicate regularly with volunteers and community organizations.
  • Represent Scouting in a professional and positive way.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
  • Leadership experience (student orgs, campus employment, service, athletics—all great)
  • Interest in youth development, nonprofits, community engagement, or sales
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and meeting new people

  

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (any major welcome)
  • Age 21+ (per organizational policy)
  • Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
  • Ability to work some evenings/weekends as needed
  • Must pass standard background checks
  • Scouting experience is not required (thoughts?)
