Creative Media Intern
In an increasingly digital world, communication through the arts is more important than ever. The last few years have reminded us just how vital social media and graphic design are for the future of the church: before a visitor ever walks into our building on a Sunday, they will encounter us online first. The story we tell, and the impression we make, are important!
Experience
As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a selected area of ministry based on your unique gifts, working directly with a staff department director. Interns will be expected to work 40 hours per week and will be paid $15/ hour.
Learn
Collectively, interns will participate in weekly leadership coaching sessions with Senior Pastor Ben Feldott and select ministry and marketplace leaders, to widen their perspective on ministry and further develop their leadership skills.
Grow
Outside of ministry training, interns are also invited to participate in a weekly small group with one another. This will give you the opportunity to dive deeper, discuss your personal faith, and grow together as you discern God’s calling in your life.
Recharge
Cape Cod is a world-renowned destination, and we want to help you experience this busy and beautiful region during your stay! Interns will have the opportunity to explore the Cape through a few organized excursions over the summer. Activities may include day trips to local beaches, dinner (and ice cream) outings, and a trip to the nearby city of Boston
If you have a passion for people and an interest in graphic design, social media, marketing, and/or photography/videography, this internship is for you! At Cape Cod Church, you will gain experience with multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), as well as other content platforms (YouTube, podcast). This internship requires some experience with Photoshop.
As a Creative Media Intern, you will work closely with Pastoral Associate Brittany Feldott. However, when it comes to design, we have a highly collaborative atmosphere! We are committed to working with interns to help you develop skills in whatever concentrations you are most interested in. Potential responsibilities include:
- Photo/video capture (Sunday services, weekday programs, special events)
- Curating message content for social media
- Graphic design (message series, events, social media posts)
- Copywriting for social media posts
- Coordinating with a partner agency to develop a content calendar
- Data Analytics
- Other duties as assigned
