Offsite Services Assistant
- Perform speech and hearing screenings as needed
- Assisting with mobile and clinic screenings as needed
- Assist with the collection of data for future reporting
- Operating Medifusion, our electronic medical records keeping system, and the office equipment including fax, scanner and copier
- Insurance verification and data entry
- Demonstrates knowledge of and supports the mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
- Assists in the planning of any event that highlights corporate services.
- Participates in local health fairs and community events.
- Must check email consistently throughout the day and respond promptly.
- Performs all clerical and administrative duties necessary to support clinic management and senior- level staff, including overseeing special projects as assigned.
- Maintains accuracy, thoroughness, and confidentiality and performs under minimal supervision, including troubleshooting as needed.
- Attend team meetings as required by office management.
- Familiarizes oneself with protocols associated with insurance verification, prior authorization rules, and regulations for approval.
- Performs insurance verification for school screenings and/ or in clinic patients as needed.
- Maintaining supplies and the office appearance
- Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, climbing stairs and moving intermittently during working hours.
