About the Role
Join Bello Machre’s IT team as an IT Desktop Support Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting Computer set up, onboarding, and companywide IT initiatives. Supervised by the IT Administrator, this role is ideal for individuals passionate about IT support, Administration and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with local recycling and data-destruction vendors that meet HIPAA requirements for secure handling and disposal of PHI-containing equipment and media.
• Transition all administrative staff computers, printers, and related devices to new network names (SSIDs), ensuring minimal downtime and full functionality.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Maintain asset inventory and ensure proper tracking of IT equipment through its lifecycle.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external support providers as needed

Who You Are

• Comfortable using Word, Excel, and Fresh Service 
• Collaborative team player who values inclusion and mission-driven work
• Working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, SSID configuration, printer/network mapping).
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with ticketing system is preferred but not required.

Internship Details

• 120-hour minimum over 8 weeks (flexible schedule)
• Part-time: 10–15 hours/week
• Must pass background checks and attend onboarding trainings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
