Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a high-energy Director of Talent & Market Growth to join our team! The Director of Talent & Market Growth is a networking machine who loves people, events, and making connections. Your mission: showcase our value proposition, culture, and unique selling points in ways that inspire mortgage bankers to see their future at Atlantic Bay. Applicants must reside in one of our operating markets: Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida and must be able to travel within the markets.
What you’ll be doing
Networking & Market Presence
- Building a constant presence in local markets through industry events, networking groups, and associations (MBA, NAMBA, NAHREP, etc.).
- Proactively connecting with 100+ recruits per week through texts, DMs, calls, and in-person touchpoints.
- Developing relationships that create a pipeline of talent for our Regional Managers, Sales Managers and Strategic Growth team.
Social Media & Digital Storytelling
- Owning and amplifying Atlantic Bay’s recruiting story across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Producing creative, authentic video content highlighting our culture, people, and growth opportunities.
- Working with marketing to create innovative digital campaigns to attract both seasoned producers and younger mortgage bankers entering the industry.
Recruiting & Talent Pipeline Development
- Hand-delivering qualified, interested recruits to Regional Managers, Sales Managers and Strategic Growth ready for deeper conversations.
- Maintaining a surgical, personal approach to outreach (no mass blasts, no cookie-cutter pitches).
- Consistently communicating how Atlantic Bay helps loan officers grow their business, balance their life, and thrive in their careers.
- Being a part of market creating content showcasing local leadership, events and culture.
- Partnering with Strategic Growth at events to elevate Atlantic Bay brand and culture.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Partnering with Sales Leadership and Strategic Growth to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on target candidates.
- Working with marketing to build and push out content, campaigns, and recruiting tools.
- Providing visibility into recruiting activity, results, and pipeline progress.
What you’ll bring
- 3 - 7 years of experience in sales, recruiting, marketing, business development or related industry role required
- Knowledge of the mortgage industry and an understand of the terminology, the roles, and what top talent in this space is looking for is required
- Proven ability to attract and engage through social media
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with CRM, digital marketing, and networking tools
- Demonstrated ability to generate results through influence, relationships, and persistence
- Ability to travel and be in key markets along the East Coast monthly, at industry conferences and events
