Sustainable Farming Internship
Full Time / Part Time
March-November (any period within these months)
About the Internship
Mission of Mary Cooperative (MMC) interns work directly on our urban farm and get direct experience in sustainable agriculture, community engagement, and/or education. We offer a space for interns to learn about urban ecosystems, place-based non-profit programming, and best practices in sustainable urban agriculture.
MMC has five gardens within the Twin Towers neighborhood. We strive to improve access to healthy produce for our neighbors. We grow more than eighty different varieties of vegetables, fruits, and herbs that fill our 100-member weekly veggie box program, stock our farm market, and allow us to provide donations to our partners. We embrace sustainable growing methods that nurture soil and human health.
