Marketing Intern

Join the marketing team of a top, growing residential roofing company! This is a unique opportunity for a creative and driven intern to gain valuable experience in a hands-on environment. You will play a key role in boosting our local presence, demonstrating our quality of work, and strengthening our reputation for reliability and trust.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Intern will support daily operations with a focus on visual and digital content that drives qualified leads:

  • Social Media & Local Engagement: Manage content and community engagement on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, focusing on geo-targeted posts, team highlights, and project progress updates.
  • Visual Content Production: Design compelling graphics, short-form videos (e.g., Reels/TikToks), and compelling "Before & After" visuals using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to showcase completed roofing projects.
  • Educational Content Creation: Draft short, informative content for blog posts and social media that addresses common homeowner questions (e.g., signs of storm damage, roof maintenance tips, shingle comparisons).
  • Referral & Review Campaigns: Assist in promoting our customer referral program and crafting visual requests for online reviews (Google Business Profile, Yelp), tracking the success of these lead-generating initiatives.
  • Brand Collateral Design: Create marketing materials for sales and field teams, such as truck magnets, yard signs, flyers, and digital ad banners, ensuring consistent brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field. Ideally in your senior year.
  • Strong visual design skills with confirmed proficiency in Canva and/or the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Rush/Pro).
  • Experience creating and managing content on major social media platforms, with a focus on building a local/community-focused following.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to maintain a clear, professional, and trustworthy brand voice.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple creative projects simultaneously.
