GENERAL DUTIES

CES is seeking a Data Analyst to manage and enhance products that track clients’ energy usage and costs. The role involves ensuring data collection and accuracy, supporting client needs, and contributing to product development.

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly reports for clients
  • Maintain the integrity and quality of data sets used in reporting
  • Audit utility, supply, and solar invoices for accuracy
  • Troubleshoot client inquiries and provide timely resolutions
  • Coordinate communication with utilities, suppliers, and solar developers on behalf of clients
  • Collect, organize, and update regularly published data sets, including utility tariffs, default rates, weather data, and other energy-related information
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of internal systems
  • Support team members with research and data management tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with numbers and statistics
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Positive, self-motivated attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Programming and database management experience is a plus but not required

This is a hybrid position based out of CES’ office in downtown Portland, ME. Candidates should be able commute to the CES office or be willing to relocate. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or have valid work authorization.
