Customer Relations Representative- State Farm

ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
With more than 10 years of serving our community, our office has grown into a close-knit team that truly feels like family. We currently have three full-time and two part-time team members who bring energy, collaboration, and genuine care to our work every day.

 

I’m a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Business, and I’ve built this agency around service, integrity, and connection. We enjoy creating an environment where people feel supported and valued—from offering drinks, snacks, and a full coffee bar to celebrating small traditions that bring us together. One of our favorites is Thankful Thursday, where we rotate preparing a meal and share lunch as a team.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a customer relations representative with Shannon Rikard State Farm, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Maintain customer records and update information as needed.
  • Assist with customer retention strategies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in customer service preferred.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly.
