Location: Marietta/Woodstock, GA (near Kennesaw State University)
Firm: Stewart CPAs
Pay: Hourly (competitive, based on experience)
Schedule: Part-time during Spring semester (flexible with class schedule)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Tax Intern for Spring 2026 who is interested in learning how individual tax returns are prepared from start to finish. This internship is designed for students who want practical, resume-building experience in a supportive, small-firm environment.

The intern will primarily assist with data entry and organization of individual tax return information while learning the fundamentals of tax preparation and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Enter client tax data into professional tax software

Organize and review source documents (W-2s, 1099s, deductions, credits, etc.)

Assist in the preparation of individual (Form 1040) tax returns under supervision

Scan, file, and maintain digital tax records

Learn tax concepts, compliance requirements, and workflow processes

Provide general administrative support during busy tax season

Qualifications

Current college student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

No prior tax experience required — training provided
