Content Creator & Social Media Marketer Intern

We are a fast-growing, K-pop–inspired eCommerce brand based in South El Monte looking for a part-time Content Creator & Social Media Marketer to help us film fun, engaging short-form video content for Instagram and TikTok.

This role is perfect for someone who lives on social media, understands what performs well (with trending audios, hashtags, and popular video formats), and enjoys filming creative content with friends in real-world settings like cafés, events, and everyday hangouts.

You’ll work closely with our team to create marketing and advertising content that feels natural, authentic, and shareable.

What You’ll Do
   •    Film short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok
   •    Appear on-camera yourself in many videos
   •    Capture fun, engaging, and ad-friendly content (skits, lifestyle clips, café videos, friend group videos, product features, etc.)
   •    Take product listing photos and videos for online platforms
   •    Pick up products from our South El Monte location and bring them to filming locations
   •    Brainstorm creative content ideas aligned with current social media behavior, marketing best practices, and K-pop culture
   •    Collaborate with our remote video editor:
   •    You may choose to edit videos yourself (CapCut or similar) or
   •    Pass raw footage to our video editor for post-production
   •    Exchange ideas with the video editor — editors may send concepts or creative directions, and you’ll collaborate to bring those ideas to life
   •    Occasionally bring friends into shoots (with consent) to create authentic, social content

Requirements
   •    Strong understanding of Instagram & TikTok
   •    Comfortable creating content with trending audios or hashtags
   •    Interest in or familiarity with K-pop culture
   •    Ability to commute to South El Monte at least twice per week to pick up products
   •    Must have trunk space or sufficient car storage to transport products
   •    Own a high-quality phone camera or camera equipment
   •    Comfortable filming in public locations
   •    Reliable, creative, and self-motivated

Preferred (Nice to Have)
   •    Experience creating short-form video content (personal, school, or brand accounts)
   •    Familiarity with CapCut or similar editing tools
   •    Marketing, advertising, or content creation background
   •    Basic photography skills

Schedule & Pay
   •    Part-time
   •    Flexible schedule around classes
   •    In-person coordination and product pickups at least 2x per week
   •    Paid position (hourly or per-project, discussed during interview)
