Account Manager

Account Manager – Design-Driven Sales (Entry Level)

Memphis, TN | Full-Time | In-Showroom

At Spaces Group, we design and furnish some of the coolest commercial environments in the region—from innovative offices to healing healthcare environments. We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Account Manager who’s excited to learn the business of high-end, design-forward commercial furniture while working alongside some of the most talented experts in the industry.

This is an opportunity to grow your sales career from the ground up—supported by experienced Account Executives, Designers, Business Developers, Project Managers, and Installers who bring projects to life every day.

What You’ll Do

Sales + Client Experience

  • Be a go-to support partner for our Sales and Leadership teams
  • Join client meetings, help manage follow-up tasks, and learn how great workplaces are created
  • Assist with presentations, finish selections, budgets, and marketing materials
  • Engage with walk-ins and inbound inquiries, helping them understand their options and proposing tailored solutions
  • Keep your Account Executive up to date on project progress, client needs, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Prep our Memphis showroom for client visits to deliver a polished, hospitality-driven experience

Lead Generation + Networking

  • Help identify new business opportunities through research, outreach, referrals, and community involvement
  • Regularly connect with the Architecture & Design (A&D) community through visits, presentations, and events
  • Represent Spaces Group at networking events and industry gatherings

Goal Setting + Growth

  • Build business plans for assigned accounts and new targets
  • Work toward quarterly and annual sales goals with full mentorship and support
  • Track project pipelines, leads, and results in company software

Professional Development

  • Develop deep product knowledge across our premium brands—including MillerKnoll
  • Learn commercial furniture concepts, design trends, and consultative selling
  • Train on industry software (CAP, CET, CAD Reader, NetSuite)
  • Participate in continuous education, sales training, and A&D industry events
  • Grow into a highly skilled, client-facing sales professional with a clear path for advancement

Who You Are

  • A recent graduate or early-career professional with 1+ year experience in sales (preferred but not required)
  • Curious, organized, self-motivated, and excited to grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about design, architecture, branding, or creating great workplace experiences
  • Able to juggle multiple projects and adapt quickly
  • A natural communicator who loves making connections and building relationships
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to read architectural documents is a plus

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, Communications, or related field
