Public Affairs Creative Service Intern

Summary

The Public Affairs intern will assist the video team as a junior editor and production assistant who is integral during filming and events where a audio visual set-up or photography is needed.

 

Job Responsibilities

- Ingest, organize, and sync footage after each shoot
- Assist in loading and unloading gear during events and shooting days ( must have be able to lift at least  
  25lbs)
- Assist building camera rigs, organizing and maintaining production equipment 
- Photograph team members at internal and external events
- Assist other members of the Public Affairs team with ongoing projects
- Assist with content creation
- Opportunities to shoot and edit projects based on growth and proficiency 

 

Required Education and Experience

At the time of application, applicant must:

• Currently enrolled in an associates, bachelors or master’s degree program with an accredited college or university

• Currently enrolled in a related degree program to the internship in which they are applying

• A student in good standing and classified by their institution as a rising sophomore or higher

• Able to commit to working at least 20 hours per week

• Able to commit to the intern position for a minimum of two months

Preferred Experience:

 Familiarity with Premier Pro, Davinci resolve, social media platforms,

Adobe creative suites, Microsoft office suites and basic photography
- Familiarity with Cinema and mirrorless camera systems
- Basic understanding on film lighting

Other requirements:

Valid Driver's License
