Join students from across the country for an unparalleled research internship experience. 

The HIPRC INSIGHT Summer Research Program is an intensive, eight-week internship designed for undergraduate students to receive an introduction to injury and violence prevention education and research. This paid opportunity pairs you with leading health sciences faculty at the University of Washington, where you’ll collaborate on impactful research projects alongside peers and professionals from diverse disciplines. 

What You’ll Do 

You’ll contribute to research that explores: 

  • Risk factors and causes of injuries 
  • Injury and violence prevention strategies 
  • Acute and chronic care for injured patients 
  • Trauma outcomes and recovery interventions 

This year's program is virtual, with an end of program in-person symposium in Seattle, Washington.
