Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful General Office Operations Coordinator to to support our New York office across human resources, payroll assistance and general office administration.

This is a junior to mid-level role that focuses on preliminary tasks and administrative support, working closely under the supervision of an attorney who oversees HR and payroll. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive and comfortable assisting across multiple operational areas in a small but fast-growing office environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Human Resources and Payroll Support

  • Assist with recruitment coordination, scheduling and onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain personnel files and basic HR records.
  • Support payroll processing tasks under supervision (Paycor, Paychex or ADP).
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, reimbursements and HR reporting.
  • Prepare preliminary documents for visa or work authorization processes as needed.

2. Accounting and Administrative Assistance

  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks including expense logging and receipt management.
  • Assist with invoice tracking and vendor payments with guidance from the external accounting team.
  • Help prepare monthly expense summaries and internal budget tracking sheets.
  • Maintain organized financial and operational documentation.

3. Office Operations and General Support

  • Assist with day-to-day office operations for the One World Trade Center office.
  • Coordinate office supplies, deliveries and vendor contact points.
  • Support meeting scheduling, event logistics and communication with the Asian HQ.
  • Help improve internal workflows and maintain shared documents.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, accounting, business administration or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of combined experience in HR, payroll or office administration.
  • Familiarity with payroll/accounting systems such as Paycor, Paychex, ADP, etc.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices and bookkeeping principles.
  • Excellent communication, organization and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Skills and Experiences

  • Experience in a law firm, accounting firm or other professional-services environment.
  • Familiarity with Clio or other legal billing systems.
  • Prior experience in small-office or startup operations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred but not required.

Salary information: $45,000 (minimum)~
