Development Internship – Spring 2026
Position Overview
The Development Intern will support the planning and execution of our annual Fuel Her Fire Auction Gala, one of our largest fundraising events of the year. This role is ideal for students interested in nonprofit management, fundraising, event planning, communications, or marketing. The internship provides hands-on experience in outreach, sponsor engagement, donor stewardship, and event logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Sponsorship Support
- Solicit auction items for the Spring Gala (emails, calls, tracking outreach).
- Assist with sponsor outreach and follow-up communications.
- Support event logistics, including supply organization.
- Provide on-site support during events (as available).
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the development team.
- Help maintain donor and sponsor records in our database.
- Assist with generating thank you letters and communicating with donors and attendees.

Schedule
15–20 hours per week, flexible based on class schedules. Hybrid work is available, with some onsite time at our Manchester office.
