Door-to-Door Sales Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Door-to-Door Pest Control Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. This dual-role position combines direct sales with recruitment responsibilities. The ideal candidate will excel at generating new pest control accounts through face-to-face interactions while also identifying and developing new sales talent.

Primary Responsibilities

Sales & Account Development

  • Conduct door-to-door sales visits in assigned territories to generate new pest control accounts
  • Present pest control services and solutions to residential and commercial customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate service packages
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales & recruiting targets
  • Complete service agreements and process payments using mobile point-of-sale systems
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in CRM system
  • Follow up with leads and schedule first service appointments

Recruitment & Team Building

  • Identify and recruit potential sales representatives through networking
  • Set up interviews with prospective team members
  • Assist in training new sales representatives on products and techniques
  • Mentor junior team members and provide field training support
  • Participate in recruitment events and job fairs

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to walk 5-8 miles daily in various weather conditions
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with strong resilience to rejection
  • Professional appearance and ethical sales approach
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pest control or home services industry
  • 1-2 years of direct sales experience, preferably door-to-door
  • Previous recruiting or team leadership experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) capabilities
  • Familiarity with CRM software

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Evening hours may be required. Flexible scheduling available for top performers.
