Content Creator Intern

Reports to: Finance and Marketing Director  

Collaborates with: Education Specialist, Guest Experience Manager and Business Director  

Position Summary: 

The Content Creator Intern will play a key role in developing engaging, trend-driven content that promotes the Children’s Museum of Green Bay’s programs, events, and mission and expansion of play space. This position works closely with the Business Development Director and Education Specialist to brainstorm ideas, create multimedia content, and manage digital platforms to increase community engagement and brand visibility. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Research and monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, and best   practices to keep content fresh and relevant. 
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Director and Education Specialist to align content with marketing goals and educational programming. 
  • Plan, script, and produce short-form videos, photos, and graphics for social media and website. 
  • Film and edit video content using museum-approved tools and software. 
  • Write captions, blog posts, and other copy that reflects the museum’s voice and mission. 
  • Schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). 
  • Track and analyze engagement metrics; prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations. 
  • Assist with live coverage of museum events and programs. 
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries. 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college program related to Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a similar field. 
  • NWTC Students - This Internship can be used for 10104199 Marketing Career Experience
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends. 
  • Basic video editing and graphic design skills (experience with Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools preferred). 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and independently. 
  • Must have your own devices to research, film content, edit content, communiate and preform effectively. 

Internship Details: 

     Type: Part-time $10+ hourly based on experience and vision

     Duration: January 2026 –  June 2026 

     Location: On-site at the Children’s Museum of Green Bay.
