Social Media Content Creator

Help shape the digital presence of a cutting-edge music app!

MyStage is an innovative startup dedicated to enhancing the connections between musicians and their fans. We are creating new revenue streams for artists, comprehensive music event listings for fans, and digital collectibles to support the music community. Having recently launched in the app stores, we need local content creators to generate content that brings our vision to life.

We are seeking skilled and imaginative interns to join our social team, focusing on producing a wide range of visual content by highlighting local bands, venues and festivals. You’ll collaborate with our team to create professional, engaging content that elevates our brand and captivates our audience.

 

Skills we are seeking:

Create image and video assets of local artists and events for marketing campaigns and social media.

Blog and social posts documenting the local music scene

Edit videos and produce motion graphics to support app promotion.

Graphic design of posts, banners and website for events and promotional activities.

 

Equity Compensation:

$15–$20/hr in phantom stock. This is an early-stage startup set to launch soon, with payroll compensation expected to follow.

Skills Desired

Familiarity with design principles (e.g., layout, typography, color theory) and their application in digital and print media.

Experience with photo and video editing 

Basic website design skills, with experience in tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Products or similar for creating visually appealing layouts.

Willingness to collaborate and adapt to creative feedback.

 

Expectations:

Time Commitment: Minimum of 15 hours/week. Flexible scheduling.

Collaboration: Be proactive and communicative, working closely with the team on design projects.

Portfolio: Submit a portfolio with examples of social content, graphic design, video edits, motion graphics, or website design for review.

Academic Integration: Internship can align with class projects if allowed by your institution.
