Document Processors
Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Legal Processing Representative to support our legal operations team. This role plays a key part in managing and processing critical legal documents related to debt collection lawsuits, including stipulated agreements, summons and complaints, and other time-sensitive court-related materials. You will work across multiple systems to ensure timely processing, document accuracy, and compliance with legal workflows.
Responsibilities
- Review, process, and organize incoming legal documents such as:
- Stipulated agreements
- Summons and complaints
- Settlement offers
- Court correspondence
- Open, sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail, including both physical, electronic, and scanned documents
- Prepare and send outgoing legal correspondence via mail and digital platforms.
- Accurately track document statuses and deadlines using internal CRM and third-party software.
- Follow detailed workflows to ensure all tasks meet legal and operational requirements.
- Communicate with internal teams to escalate issues or confirm next steps on sensitive cases.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records in accordance with compliance standards.
- Crosstrain in other administrative functions and assist in special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- 6+ months of data entry, legal admin, or office support experience.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret legal documents.
- Experience working in multiple systems, databases, or CRMs.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow strict protocols and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, PDF tools, scanners).
Preferred
- Experience working in a legal, collections, or financial services environment.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and debt collection processes.
- Prior use of legal case management systems or third-party processing software.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma, BA preferred or equivalent experience and/or related training. 2 years’ experience in processing, data entry, document auditing, or quality assurance preferred.
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Basic – Effectively communicate both verbally and in written format. Ability to write simple correspondence.
MATH ABILITY:
Basic – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Intermediate – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Computer skills needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job are as follows: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer/internet navigation.

Compensation - $16.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Schedule - Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:30pm EST
