Middle School Social Studies

Gross Schechter Day School in Pepper Pike Ohio is seeking to fill a Middle School Social Studies position for the remaining of the school year.

The Middle School Social Studies teacher is assigned to deliver a comprehensive Social Studies education program in accordance with Ohio Learning Standards. The candidate should be a curious, lifelong learner with a passion for discovering new things. The candidate should have knowledge and interest in technology of the 21st century including appropriate research processes.  The Social Studies teacher’s responsibilities include developing interesting lesson plans and curricula, collaborating with other teachers, completing student assessments, and addressing any performance issues.

Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college and an Ohio Teaching License or qualifies for a Temporary License for Social Studies Education.
