Program Vision: World Orphans will offer young adults the opportunity to actively participate in our mission of equipping, inspiring, and mobilizing churches to care for orphans and vulnerable families.
Program Outcome: Our hope is that you’ll walk away with a renewed vision of global ministry–one that sees missions as collaborative partnership with the local church and orphan care as the holistic care of vulnerable families through family preservation. By integrating these foundations, interns will gain a holistic perspective of long-term, sustainable ministry that empowers local leaders, strengthens families, and supports communities in ways that honor their dignity and God-given design.
What You’ll Do:
- Design visuals for social media, brochures, banners, and more using Adobe Creative Suite. Produce and edit videos for campaigns, tutorials, and social media with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. And build and maintain user-friendly websites using WordPress, ensuring brand consistency.
- Engage in regular meetings with World Orphans staff to learn about the organization’s history, mission, and culture. Identify key beliefs that define who we are and explore them further through staff interviews.
- Meet weekly for 1:1 supervision focused on spiritual reflection, evaluation, planning, and prayer.
Learning Outcomes:
- Gain hands-on experience in a global nonprofit dedicated to empowering churches and vulnerable families.
- Build your portfolio with meaningful projects and learn from experienced professionals in a supportive environment through consistent 1:1 mentorship and evaluation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Mission-driven and passionate about global ministry, media design, and serving vulnerable families.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with WordPress.
- Current enrollment in or recent graduate from a related field.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and able to manage time and tasks effectively while working remotely.
- Willing to travel to Guatemala upon completing the internship to experience the ministry impact first-hand.
