Sales And Marketing Intern
About the Role
We are hiring a Sales & Marketing Intern to support an in-person partnership between our client, our marketing firm, and local retailers. This is a hands-on position ideal for students who want real experience in field marketing, retail partnership management, and sales support.
You will act as a connector between three groups:
The client (brand/products)
Our marketing firm (strategy + reporting)
Retail partners (stores where the brand is sold)
Your work helps ensure marketing initiatives are executed correctly, customers are engaged, and retailers have what they need for success.
What You’ll Do
In-Store & Field Responsibilities
Visit local retailers to check product placement, displays, and promotional materials
Build positive relationships with store managers and staff
Capture photos, notes, and feedback on store conditions
Ensure marketing materials are stocked, updated, and visually correct
Support in-store demos or promotional events when needed
Sales Support
Gather feedback from retailers regarding customer questions and sales trends
Report on inventory levels and assist with simple sales tracking
Communicate retailer needs back to the marketing team
Marketing Responsibilities
Assist with executing marketing campaigns at the retail level
Collect customer insights and observe shopping behavior in-store
Help align retail execution with the client's marketing strategy
Record and organize field data for weekly reports

Requirements
Must be comfortable traveling to local retail locations
Professional communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
Comfortable interacting with store management and customers

Interest in merchandising or field marketing
Familiarity with basic reporting or inventory tracking
