Part-Time Social Media Assistant

Job Title: Part-Time Social Media Assistant 

Location: Remote/1hour meeting 1x a week in person at 9th & 9th offices
Job Type: Part-Time
Compensation: $12

Hours: 5-10 hours per week (flexible)

 

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Social Media Assistant to help manage our social media presence on a part-time, primarily remote basis. This role will focus on engaging with our online community and assisting the Marketing Director with posting content across platforms.

If you enjoy interacting with people online and have a good understanding of social media, this is a great opportunity to gain experience and support a growing marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing Director in posting content on social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a friendly and professional manner
  • Monitor social media activity and alert the team to questions or issues that need attention
  • Help maintain a consistent posting schedule
  • Support community engagement by liking, sharing, and commenting on relevant content
  • Perform basic reporting on engagement or follower growth

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of major social media platforms
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Friendly, positive attitude and interest in social media engagement
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively
