WE ARE
Fawne x District Candle Lab is a dual-concept experiential retail space owned by a local DMV entrepreneur. We create warm, creative environments where people come to make something personal — whether they’re blending fragrances to pour a custom candle or designing their own jewelry from our charm bar.
Our Mosaic District location has been open since May and has quickly become a go-to spot for celebrations, girls’ nights, birthdays, and unforgettable experiences. We’re looking for a strong leader to take ownership of this location and elevate the customer and team experience even further.
YOU ARE
A natural leader with solid people skills and enough experience to confidently run a store — whether you’re already a manager or a dependable team lead/keyholder ready to step up.
You’re organized, reliable, and good at keeping things moving without drama. You enjoy connecting with customers, guiding staff, and making sure every event feels intentional and fun. You bring both structure and creativity to the table, and you take pride in a space that looks and operates beautifully.
As Store Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our Mosaic District shop, support events, and help grow a strong, consistent team culture.

WE ASK FOR
Full-time availability (30–40 hours per week)
Flexibility to work holidays and support high-volume weekends
Comfort managing multiple priorities with composure
Experience in customer service or transferable leadership skills (team lead/keyholder experience counts)
Event experience is a plus (or willingness to learn quickly)
Willingness to drive to and set up for occasional off-site events
Key responsibilities include:
Leadership + Team Culture
- Set an example for positivity, professionalism and hospitality among team
- Actively work toward reaching sales goals by leading team with clear customer service expectations through training, leadership and sales strategies
- Provide clear, constructive + positive feedback and delegate tasks clearly
- Manage & organize monthly team schedule including events, sales & promotions.
Shop Experience + Customer Service
- Exemplify + foster a welcoming, positive and service-focused shop environment through communication, body language and morale
- Develop + maintain knowledge of the goods we carry, share those stories with customers and train future team members on how to learn + sell
- Ensure prompt + polite customer service by clearly communicating requests across the team and quickly following up communication on all requests and issues
- Executing regular customer perks, experiences + events
Operations + Inventory Management
- Assist with inventory management on Shopify and Stocky to ensure inventory is accurate and products are not oversold
- Lead and complete weekly transfers (unpacking, counting and merchandising new products) to ensure the shop is stocked and can support sales
- Communicate with us on our calendar app in a timely and professional manner
