Fawne x District Candle Lab is a dual-concept experiential retail space owned by a local DMV entrepreneur. We create warm, creative environments where people come to make something personal — whether they’re blending fragrances to pour a custom candle or designing their own jewelry from our charm bar.
Our Mosaic District location has been open since May and has quickly become a go-to spot for celebrations, girls’ nights, birthdays, and unforgettable experiences.
We’re looking for a strong leader to take ownership of this location and elevate the customer and team experience even further.

An individual with leadership skills that can assist to manage a small team of creatives. You will foster a positive environment of learning and creativity.

WE ASK FOR
- Full-time 30-40/week position
- Availability to work evenings + weekends
- Flexible availability + commitment to working holidays is a must
- Experience in crafting is a plus
- Experience in customer service preferred OR transferable skills
Key responsibilities include:
Assembly
- Assemble Candles or Jewelry for customers
- Train and assist team members through the jewelry or candle making process
Leadership + Team Culture
- Set an example for positivity, professionalism and hospitality among team
- Actively work toward reaching sales goals by working with the manager with clear customer service expectations through training, leadership and sales strategies
Shop + Experience
- Exemplify + foster a welcoming, positive and service-focused shop environment through communication, body language and morale
- Develop + maintain knowledge of the goods we carry and create, share those stories with customers and train future team members on how to learn + sell + make
- Ensure prompt + polite customer service by clearly communicating requests across the team and quickly following up communication on all requests and issues
- Executing regular customer perks, experiences + events
- Ensuring the store is kept up to cleanliness standards.
Inventory Management
- Assist with inventory management on Shopify and Stocky to ensure inventory is accurate and products are not oversold
- Lead and complete weekly transfers (unpacking, counting and merchandising new products) to ensure the shop is stocked and can support sales
....and much more! This is a dynamic role that requires a genuine love for customer service, adaptability, computer proficiency, strong written / oral communication.
