Akron Community Internship: Goodyear Theater

Hours: 100 hours during the internship - 15/hr
Date: Fall 2025 (exact dates TBD to accommodate student schedules) 
Location:  The Goodyear Theater, and other Akron Civic Theater spaces.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hospitality Assistant. This role involves shopping for artist rider items, setting up dressing rooms and hospitality areas before performances, and tearing down and resetting the space post-show. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Role Description

• Shop for food, beverages, and other items outlined in artist riders.
• Set up dressing rooms and backstage hospitality areas prior to artist arrival.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of hospitality spaces during events.
• Tear down and reset spaces after performances.
• Coordinate with production and venue staff to ensure all hospitality needs are met.

Requirement

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for preshow shop.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies (up to 40 lbs).
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and flexible hours.
