Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our technical products to clients. Your ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences will be essential. You will be trained for 8-12 months at our US headquarter and potentially assigned to cover several US States from a remote location.

Responsibilities:

  1. Needs Assessment: Understand customer requirements and identify their technical needs. Recommend appropriate products based on these needs.
  2. Product Demonstration: Clearly demonstrate how our products work, emphasizing their unique features and benefits.
  3. Customer Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with existing customers and actively seek out new clients.
  4. Technical Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products, including their components and functionality.
  5. Communication: Explain technical information in a way that is easily understandable for non-technical clients.
  6. Issue Resolution: Follow up with customers to address any concerns or issues promptly.
  7. Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  8. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  9. Market Awareness: Stay informed about competing products and industry trends.
  10. Professionalism: Present yourself professionally and maintain excellent presentation skills.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, business, or a related field.
  • Ideal Experience: 2 years in technical sales or equivalent.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of core engineering, chemistry and physics will help faster development in the role.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Lead Generation: Ability to identify and follow up on leads.
