This position will be based out of Marshall+Sterling’s Poughkeepsie Office.
Support the Group Benefits Marketing and Underwriting teams by enhancing client-facing materials, researching competitor offerings, and contributing to our strategic tools. You’ll shadow experienced team members, take on meaningful work, participate in community service opportunities, and attend learning and professional development workshops.
What You’ll Do
- Research competitor offerings and market trends
- Assist in updating renewal and claims presentations
- Help refine layout, design, and supporting materials
- Support updates to the PlanYear AI tool
- Build skills in research and data that support team decisions.
- Shadow team members to gain exposure to underwriting concepts
- Participate in community service initiatives
- Take on meaningful assignments that support growth initiatives
- Attend learning and professional development workshops

Requirements
- Enrolled in a relevant degree program.
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures, Internet, and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work effectively and relate well with others including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- High level of organizational ability with attention to detail.
