Part Time Event Promoter

Position Summary  

The event promoter is responsible for connecting to potential customers at events, educating them, and encouraging them to book an appointment.  The individual should be out going, have an energetic demeanor, positive attitude and a willingness to interact with the public.  The promoter should be a go-getter and be comfortable working with minimal supervision. A positive first impression is crucial, and this individual will be key in converting passersby into Garrety Home Pros customers. 

 

The work schedule is based on event schedules, but is primarily weekend based. Promoters are not required to work all weekend and are able to sign up for specific shifts.  

 

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 

Collect lead Information and set appointments for the sales team (Main priority) 

Interact with the public, handing out swag and encouraging them to enter into our event contests. 

Handle basic product questions.  

Complete a hybrid training program prior to events.  

Assist in event setup and tear down. 

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 

Must have a valid drivers license. 

Excellent customer interaction skills. Customer service experience preferred. 

Basic tablet / smartphone abilities.  

Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-pace environment.

 

 Wages  $17-$18/hr plus bonus

Drug screen and criminal background check required.
