Position Overview
The Junior Program & Media Assistant supports the creative and operational side of our educational programs across Central Florida. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys capturing great content, helping with hands-on learning experiences, and supporting team logistics.
You’ll be part of the crew that makes our programs run — filming, photographing, organizing, and creating engaging social media moments that showcase the excitement of our workshops and field studies.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Media Capture
Take photos and videos during programs, workshops, and events that highlight creativity and teamwork.
Capture behind-the-scenes moments and student engagement for social platforms.
Organize and label digital media for use by the marketing team.
Assist with basic edits, captions, and uploads to platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
Stay aware of current trends, music, and styles in social media content.
Program & Logistics Support
Help prepare materials, supplies, and setups before programs begin.
Assist instructors during workshops, field trips, and special events.
Greet and support students, teachers, and visitors on-site.
Help manage attendance, media releases, and digital forms.
Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and positive program environment.
Team Support
Support daily operations at the FFSA Creative Campus and on location.
Assist with inventory, packing, and transport of gear and materials.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.
Take initiative and contribute creative ideas for media storytelling.
What We’re Looking For
Familiar with major social media platforms and apps (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook).
Comfortable shooting and editing short-form videos or photos using a smartphone or camera.
Reliable, organized, and enjoys being part of a fast-paced, creative team.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Flexible schedule — some evening or weekend programs required.
Interest in education, film, media, or STEM fields a plus.
Reliable transportation required for travel between locations.
